Cliff began his love of Country dancing during the Urban Cowboy craze in the early 1980s. In 1993, Cliff began teaching Country Two-Step Workshops at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks with Jenny Wetzel. This soon expanded to West Coast Swing, Waltz, Cha Cha, Hustle and Line Dances. Through the years, he has taught and DJ’d at the Borderline extensively, covering every night of the week. Cliff also danced competitively in the ProAm Division of the United Country Western Dance Council and competed in West Coast Swing & Hustle for approximately five years. He completed his ProAm Competition at The Paradise Dance Festival, finishing 1st overall in Advanced Country 2-Step, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Waltz & Cha Cha.
